When i created the conceptual brand, Identité with Home Club in - TopicsExpress

When i created the conceptual brand, Identité with Home Club in 2010 just under 4 years ago, i was fortunate to have met a lot of individuals, bands, promoters and passionate believers some who have become dear personal friends to me that i respect and i admire greatly. To have witnessed youthful talents that have progressed into great end products are something special that no one could take that away from me. Over the ensuing 14 years, The RSC has been organising, promoting, curating, destroying and partying like rockstars. The RSC now has evolved into brands that first and foremost started from Identité, Statement, Canopus Distro, Crüe (who will be curating the 10 years, 10 bands, 130th show this Friday), Dunce, Dcnstrtct and Fhage. Home Club to me has always been a pillar of strength and the place where i get creatively inspired by the people who commune and believe in the space. We couldnt think of a better way to say thanks for everything that everyone has done for us by celebrating the last 4 years( Identité), 10 years(The RSC) at this space we have had together other than to throw a party. And we would not have done this if we had not had the support from Roy Ng and Kelvin Tan, from the community and most of all it would have been nothing without the kids. My heart, my integrity and my passion have been here for this club. Theres been so many other great times and it was destination for many of like-minded people to go to. So there must not be a vacuum. There must not be a void. It must be the melodica. It must communicate with and about music. It must not be the end. How could it not be? We still have a responsibility to fulfil. On this note, The RSC is expanding to find a new home away from Home. To adapt to a change fast is crucial to our local music structure. Yours sincerely, Razi Razak (THE RSC) PS, Happy 4th anniversary Identité.
