When i was just a lil boy i remember our Angami brothers clad in their beautiful and colourful traditional attires, dragging a huge stone across our small and beautiful town every once in a year. My grandmother who was also a beautiful Angami lady dresses me up on own Sümi traditional attires and waits by the roadside for the spectacular procession to cross our house. One such year, i was sitting there with my grandmother and watching people drag the humongous stone. And all of a sudden an old and ferocious looking man called up to me, Apu! Come help us with this stone! I was shy at first but with a lil nudge from my proud grandmother I agreed and picked up the humongous stone and placed it on his shoulder.. Lol... Jokes apart. I went and pulled the rope a short distance. I was the only sumi there and the angamis shouted cheers and appreciated my effort.. ~Happy memories! True story~ ^_^
