When in an area, water is near the surface, the trees that grows there will not have to put their roots down deep to find water. When a severe storm hit, the particular trees were uprooted; hence the tragedy. It is a parable. Sometimes God denies us a shallow answer in order that we may put our roots deeper into eternal reality, and consequently stand tall and strong in any future storm. A person with strong faith in which we are speaking expressed it like this: Continue to bear in mind that: Nothing that happens can hurt you, whether you lose or win. Though life may be changed on the surface, you do your main living within. We must learn to live in time and eternity simultaneously. If the time side of life seems to be full of trouble then the eternity side holds us steady. Confidence in the goodness of God is the secret of your poise and strong faith. Pressed to expand on that statement. Now try to be confidence and be convinced that in the midst of the wirst thing that can happen there is a good and wise purpose at work. Thus you can go on, knowing that love is at the helm of your life. God loves you too much to let anything happens to you that will not work out for good. Isaiah 30:15 for thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your stength. Your strength is quiet faith.
