When is the last time you saw almost 2,200 college and high school band members playing on the field at the same time? What an incredible experience yesterday taking 50 of our Villa Rica High School students to Jacksonville State University for Band Day. An estimated 1,800 high school band members on the field, plus The Marching Southerners. A huge thanks to Ken Bodiford and his staff for hosting the event. Dr. Bodiford never does anything less than first-class. And a BIG thank you to Meredith Toole Irons, LeAnne Caswell Preston, and all our wonderful Villa Rica chaperons for giving up their Saturday to accompany us to Band Day. It was a thrilling event.
