When it comes to relationships, I dont think people break up enough, you know? Instead of being taught to let go, were told to hold on and work it out no matter what; to be absolutely committed and to sacrifice no matter the circumstances. Meanwhile there are millions of people out there, and your odds of finding an amazing match right off the bat are pretty small. Dont settle on someone just because youre tired of looking. You dont manufacture great relationships, you find one by choosing what youre willing to do and what youre willing to put up with. And a great one is worth the work to keep it. Because when you DO find a great one, your partner wont belittle you, or cheat on you, and you wont need to snoop through their stuff or distrust them, because youll have already been in several relationships and learned those lessons and how to avoid being with people you cant trust. Youll have learned how to be open and communicate and represent yourself honestly. And when you find that truly great relationship, youll have found a partner that can do the same.
