When it comes to toxic chemical exposure, the cocktail is deadlier than the sum of its parts. We cant do much about industrial pollution but we can make small changes in our own homes, starting with cosmetics and bodycare. Read your product labels and say NO to #parabens #sodiumlaurylsulfate #phthalates #EDTA #dimethicone #mineraloil #petroleum and any other long chemical names you dont recognise! Not only are these substances hormone disruptors (contribute to hormone-driven cancers and reproductive illnesses such as PCOS and endometriosis), they also put an extra burden on the livers detoxification capacity which is already stressed to the max these days.
