When lawmakers become lawbreakers. The Constitution is clear on issues bordering political party administrative positions. Tambuwal should vacate The Speakers seat once he has decamped to another party. Amaechi became governor even when he did not stand for election though he won his partys nomination. After the impostor was disqualified, the court ruled that the election was won by PDP, and since Amaechi was the right candidate, he was given the mandate. The post of The Speaker belongs to PDP and not Tambuwal. When people disregard The Constitution and set wrong precedence, they breed anarchy. We are repeating The First Republic drama, but any military putsch will hasten the breakup. The same stupid idea came from The North after the demise of Yardua. They suggested that another Northerner should come in and finish Yarduas tenure because it was their turn to rule, and they totally disregarded the constitutional provision that The VP should step in. We are dealing with people who dont believe in the rules. My questions are - how many Nigerians believe in The Constitution, and how many Nigerians are sane or insane? We need to separate this country between the sane who believe in The Constitution and the insane who do not believe in The Constitution. There cant be progress when we are not resonating at the same frequency.
