When life knock you to your knees. We have a God that will reach down and pick you up. Christmas time reminds me of the mighty, yet loving, God that we serve. It reminds me of a time like in the first chapter of Job. When Job was put through a series of tests. Never wavering in His faith in the Lord. Even after losing his oxen and donkeys to the Sabeans.His servants put to the sword. A fire of God that fell from the sky and burned up the sheep and the servants. To the Chaldeans formed three raiding parties and swept down on his camels and carried them off. They put the servants to the sword. While that messenger was speaking another came and told Job Your sons and daughters were feasting and drinking wine at the oldest brothers house, when suddenly a mighty wind swept in from the desert and struck the four corners of the house. It collapsed on them and they are dead. Job didnt curse God. He got up. Tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship said my Bible. Naked I came from my mothers womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised. I remember being knocked to my knees by life and Im not a man as blameless and upright as Job. God blessed me and restored me into His child. Never forget whatever your circumstance.
