When listening to the soundtrack from Garden State, after watching the film again today, I noticed that this track was by Bonnie Somerville, which rang strangely familiar in a context not related to Garden State (other than there is borough by the name of Somerville, which was right next to my borough of Raritan). Well, it turns out she was also the actress of the schmaltzy yet enjoyable Hallmark Channel Christmas movie I saw a few days earlier on Netflix, Holiday Engagement. Oh, how all things (well, many things) come together though time and space.
