When looking at last night episode of Scandal I couldnt believe that I actually heard the comparison between 2nd Amendment rights and Slavery. How preposterous. And to continue to say that The Constitution upheld slavery, where, please show me, I know there us an Amendment to abolish, but to constitute it. Another thing is just because a law passes it doesnt mean it is Constitutional. That us why we have courts to hash things out, Dred Scott for one and especially the 3/5 argument, which by the way had nothing to do with a black mans percentage of how much of a human he was. Also, cant forget Separate But Equal Doctrine. So are we still comparing that to the 2nd Amendment. I know I know, its just a TV show.
