When most read the account of the temptation of Christ by Satan in - TopicsExpress

When most read the account of the temptation of Christ by Satan in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11) it does not initially seem to be blatant sins that Jesus is tempted with until Satan asks Jesus to bow down and worship him. They were indeed blatant sins but the point I want to leave you with is the subtlety of Satans temptations. When you are tempted its not going to be to commit some grievous crime but to just do something that seems pretty harmless. But sin is sin and all of it is an affront against our holy Lord. So know Gods Word and be equipped to not fall for the tricks of the deceiver.
