When mummy says dont marry him. . .just forget the love. . . (This is a real life experience. Ive just changed the name of the characters involved) Her name is Vivian and she died in 2010. She got married in 2005 and the marriage was her death sentence. The late husband who was a barrister died two years after the marriage and she managed till 2010 before she died. When she got married at 28 in 2005 she was a virgin. She was a good lady that deserved a wonderful husband. And she kept herself despite the waywardness around. When her father first saw him in 2004, though he was handsome and rich and had a great career as he worked with one of the major law firms in Nigeria, Vivian father never wished he had his daughter. He was just not comfortable having him as son-in-law. Same Vivian mother felt the young man did not deserve her daughter. But the young man was a perfect husband for any lady. He doesnt smoke nor drink nor womanize. So why would her parents reject him? Anyways, Vivian has found her true love and in 2005 they got married in a court. But Vivians parents were not happy all through it. But they could only wished her prayers to pull through. In 2007 on his final breadth, all that Phillip could say was Im sorry I lied to you on this. Im sorry I never told you about it. I thought youll leave me if I tell you. The mistake I made is that I should never have thought of having you because I do not deserve you. A better man does. Please forgive me. In tears, Vivian said if you had told me, Ill still have loved you despite. Well only have to pull through the pains. Phillip was HIV positive before marrying Virgin sister Vivian. But he did not tell her until he infected her. Phillip had lived a rough life years earlier but knowing his status had changed him. Vivian was disappointed. She was lonely and crying all time. She still loved him despite the fact that hes dead. But God. . .I dont deserve this kind of man. Why did you bring him into my life? True to it she did not deserve that kind of man but she did not listen. There are many ladies with rough pasts who got good guys. She could have lived carelessly and still get a good husband. She just couldnt listen to mummy and daddy. If she had listened the good man was around the corner. God was speaking through them. But she failed to heed to Gods words and she died. She was so devastated and decided to take no counselling. So she died in 2010 to a death she never deserved but that which she got by disobedience. (This is a true life experience. Someone shared it with me today. )
