When one compares, truth dissolves, becomes demoted, is dismantled and even put to shame. Beware of the camouflaged illusion of comparison and competition. Its like wearing dark tinted sunglasses on a sky-blue, gorgeous day . . . comparison creates a windshield for the mind . . . blurry and distorted. Few of us know the intricate details in anothers life. Many keep the details of their life closed to others. Yet we continue to compare. What we compare ourselves to is a myth and robs us of fully becoming a strong, confident and beautiful person. Unhealthy competing is another treacherous habit that consumes self. Could you say to yourself . . . I dont have to be tall, short, thin, smart, average, rich, popular, a loner, fashionable, athletic, talented, weird, a follower, a leader or anything else that Im not. All I have to do is get to know who I am, accept me, and love myself with all my being. Why? Because being Simply Yourself draws love and respect automatically from others . . .Love and respect . . . The two deepest needs of each human being.
