When our children were born, I gave all of myself to being their mom... to loving them, teaching them, being there for them. Its a bitter sweet thing to see them grow up and leave the nest. Sweet because we raise them to do so, bitter because we have to let go and hope we did our job as parents well. Thankfully we have more sweet than anything. Ours make us proud every day. My challenge these days is focusing on completing my own goals and living my life while they live theirs... not having to make all my decisions with them in mind. Lord help me to live up to the purpose you have for me, to help me become mindful of what You require of me... to become everything You are raising me to be.
