When people are overwhelmingly positive on their Facebook and never write one negative status, it annoys me. I feel like they are being fake, putting on this false image for others to see. Dont get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with being positive, but some people can overdo it. We all know life is not a bowl of happy and sweet cherries so it is okay to be ourselves and share our trials as well as our triumphs. I refuse to follow the rest of society and put on a false image like my life is completely perfect and like I have no flaws. I refuse to say my day is totally fine when it isnt. I refuse to say I am feeling stunning great when I feel like crap. Being my friend, you are going to get the real deal. You will get all of me. Society needs to teach it is okay to be human, open minded and authentic. Believe me, life feels so much better that way as you do not have the stress of constantly trying to be someone you arent. Society teaches us that it is perfectly fine to be ourselves so long as we are like everyone else. Kind of hypocritical, dont you think?
