When people dont accept you for what you are, start pointing out - TopicsExpress

When people dont accept you for what you are, start pointing out your flaws, deceive you or do anything that affects you in a bad way. You automatically step aside. Fed up by the constant nagging and complaining, you build a wall around yourself. Enclose yourself. Act all cold and unaffected. Realising that no one can understand who you are and what you want, you decide that youll be all by yourself and manage, somehow. Being alone is atleast better than being critically analysed all the time. You walk away from people and isolate yourself. Not because youre sure thatll do good to you, but because you think this is your way of punishing those people, or punishing yourself for trusting them. You think youll be fine, in your own little shell. Of course, everyone has friends and family, but sometimes they just dont bother enough to care about how you feel about things. People out their are like that, dominating, diplomatic and selfish. Judging you every step of the way. Its their way of life. Everyone is so busy with their own lives that no ones has the time to even peep into someone elses. Leave alone solving their problems. This wall around you is repelling, it pushes people away. Because at times you want just that. You want to be yourself, and if no one else likes that, youre better of without them. Theres nothing bad about it. Because you are unique in your own little way. And you dont have to explain to the world why you are the way you are. This is your life. Youll live it on your terms and not anyone elses. But just because life threw a whole rotten lot of selfish people at you, does not mean that you wont get to meet better ones. You obviously will. Somewhere along the way, you will come across people that will not only accept, but also appreciate you. Those who know what youre worth. Those who believe in you and make you feel a bit better about this world, and the people in it.
