When pigs fly, there will be Los Angeles Angels of Irvine. Would an Anaheim Angels move to the affluent suburban city of Irvine be a match for the master planned community? Absolutely not. The people of Irvine wont fall for a behemoth monster stadium blocking their views, the increase in traffic and the massive amount of outsiders threatening their suburban utopia. Then, Irvine like the city of Tustin are led by a financially conservative Mayors and councils who would never support any public financing of a new stadium by taxing their residents. Besides, how would any city or even a developer justify tax money being used for a billionaire when the city of Anaheim has made little in profits, reportedly less than $50,000 after all the expenses are considered.
