When society tries to stick you in some made up box and tries to tell what to do and not to do, you can disagree with it. Iman Elman did! When her Somali society told her women cant be good soldiers she didnt bow her head and move on. She decided to stick it to society. She became a good soldier to prove a point. I really appreciate people that constantly show societys silly little boxes cannot contain human beings. That their only mere constructs by some aimed to control the rest. And this is a tribute to the young men and women rebuilding Somalia! #ThanksIman
