When someone has aspirations to join the #police force, what they - TopicsExpress

When someone has aspirations to join the #police force, what they are essentially saying is, “I will #obey whatever #law the #politicians concoct without #question.” The very nature of their “job” is to extort #peaceful citizens, violate civil liberties, start problems where there were none, defend criminal politicians, and enforce economically/societally damaging mandates. Law Enforcement cannot even be called a “job” since this would imply that it came about through free market demand, is voluntarily funded by the people, and can therefore suffer bankruptcy should they lose customers. Few things can be further from reality. A “government job” is subject to none of the market forces to which private enterprise is subject. Its incentives are thoroughly perverted and its feedback mechanism destroyed. Comparing a “#government job” with a private sector job is equivalent to comparing rape with lovemaking or working for the #mafia with working for Target. Conflating the two would be an undeniable reflection of genuine economic ignorance. The belief in the myth of authority is especially paramount in the examples of police and the military. Either you obey an immoral order and you are promoted or you disobey and you are fired. This belief in the myth of authority can be tested by the following question that, incidentally, is asked of marines before they are sent to the Middle East, “Is there an order which you will not obey?” If the answer is no then this person is a demonstrable sociopath with no adherence to their moral compass. This person is to be absolutely feared. If the answer is yes then this person does, in fact, possess a conscience, which they place above any immoral order. They do not consider their belief in the myth of authority to be unconditional; therefore they may suspend it and disobey when they choose. This person has massive schizophrenic cognitive dissonances occurring in their mind and should reconsider why they have chosen to support the fundamentally immoral institution known as “government”. There are good cops. They are the ones who have resigned their positions, taken a stand, and spoken up about the inherent injustices of law enforcement. A good cop is a quit cop.
