When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different than other people, you can tell it better than anyone else who hears them say it. Their eyes look genuinely happy and their body language radiates their excitement. You can hide what you feel, and conceal your true feelings, and all the drama around you. But, and I know this all to well, that facts do not cease to exist just because they are ignored, much like peoples emotions and strife. You can wait for someone, sometimes years, traverse your mind and form an answer to this whole thing of love and life, and thats what counts, finding your own answer. Dont fear what you dont understand because thats how Ive got here this far, with 6 weeks left in college and the rest of my life ahead of me. Job Applications, interviews, papers and exams, the same thing over and over with no outlet for any of it anymore except my own push to make it through this. There were people along the way Ive had the honor and grace to call my friends, and then theres the most important piece of all that many people seem to search for, but very few ever find, a true friendship or a relationship that has weight and substance above things like a nice car or money or even a house. Above all this, dont lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for those others. And having no respect he ceases to contain the ability to love. 4/1/2014
