When the Forest Service shut the gate on these people what option did they have? Doesnt federal agencies have supremacy? Correction, no, local jurisdiction is supreme in its sphere because all rightful authority comes from the people. The County Sheriff, city councils, county commissions and State Legislatures and State elected officials are the elected representatives to promote the best circumstances for communities to peacefully and prosperously live and enjoy the blessings of this great country. I love my country but I am ever growing wary of federal policies that hurt people in the name of taking care of them, diminishes their livelihood but offers welfare, invades their privacy but guarantees safety and in the name of the environment loses opportunities to truly improve the surroundings and environment.
