When the US Government and the US army had invaded Irak in 2003 I - TopicsExpress

When the US Government and the US army had invaded Irak in 2003 I wondered how they could be so ignorant as to completely exclude the Baath party out of their ally realm. It was the most powerful organization in Irak at the time. Already then I thought that this would have severe negative effects. From history, we know that we need to integrate the old forces in the building up of a new state. See West Germany after 1945 or South Vietnam after the Vietnam war. If you do not integrate them they will build serious and dangerous opposition networks and will do destabilizing activities. This article shows that they were able to build a strong secret organization to prepare the overthrow of the given regime. The second reason for their success is the destabilization of Syria. Again, how could the US leadership be so ignorant to weaken the most stable secular force in the region!? What motives lie behind this are revealed to me as this is against all human reason. Now we have to face the consequences. Read in the article below: Over the past year, foreign intelligence officials had learned that Isis secured massive cashflows from the oilfields of eastern Syria, which it had commandeered in late 2012, and some of which it had sold back to the Syrian regime. I hope that the US will shift to listen to diplomacy, science and knowledge instead to belief systems and to mainly military orientation and advisorship. The leadership of the US has to completely shift its resources of knowledge to build a new strategy - otherwise the US will head to be a failed state!
