When the heartlessly removed subsidy on PMS,they told us all the sweet things we needed to hear, promising to revamp our moribund refineries and to also build new ones. Their paid agents took over the available media and flummoxed us why subsidy has to go,they said that competition in the sector would eventually force down price. The President himself told us that we need to suffer temporarily in order to enjoy thereafter. But till today,we are still suffering if not worse than before,our refineries are still non-functional, and there is no plan to build new ones. Nigeria,a state of ironies.
