When the time comes for me to find a spouse, I have some requirements, one of which Id like to mention. Im not too picky but apart from her being practising and all... I dont mind what background she is and where her family originate from.. I just want the future mother of my children to be able to speak Arabic, the language of the Quran. This doesnt mean I have to marry an arab.. I like multiculturalism and marrying into different nationalities but with the help of Allah swt, I want my wife to be communicating with my children in Arabic. My extended family dont speak English so I dont want there to be a communication barrier when I introduce my children to them insha Allah. There should be no excuses for anyone not to learn Arabic as all the material is there.. Online, books, courses etc. The benefits are vast... 1) Being able to understand what youre saying in prayer. 2) Understanding hadith of the prophet s.a.w. 3) Being able to communicate with others when travelling for Umrah, Hajj etc.. Knowing Arabic has so many benefits.. Just take that first step to learn it by enrolling on a course or buying the books to aid you. It is the 5th most spoken language in the world!!! :) Btw do it for yourself and educating your children, the future of our ummah. #Determination
