When the world looks at my son.. most of the time they see Autism.. Sometimes they see the agitation and see Mood disorder... They see learning disability and anxiety... and they see his sweet caring personality. When I look at my son.. I see a responsible young man with so many dreams. I see a teenager who has cooked dinner for his family every night this week.. because he WANTED to. Pancakes & Fried potatoes... Pizza (gluten free and from scratch).. and Burgers w/homemade fries. I see a boy who washes his own clothes when his hamper is full. I see a boy who struggles through his school day because he wants to go to college.. and get a job. I see a young man who wants to get married and have a family. I am so thankful that God trusted Simon to my keeping. Simon has added so many blessings in my life. The Blessing of his amazing personality and sweetness. The Blessings that come in the forms of teachers and amazing friends at school. When I look at the world through the eyes of Simon.. I see an amazing place ... I am so thankful God chose to create Simon Lynn Nelson. Simon the farmer... Simon the artist.. Simon the chef.. Simon the loving son. Feeling Blessed.
