When this guy broke into the league, I was like WTF is this kid that cant shoot/pass and always played like every game like his life depended on it? as I watched him more, I began to apperciate him and burr (even before they started scoring) and realized this man was going to be the heart and soul of this franchise for a long time. R2G4 Kesler goes beast mode against the preds. I remember that goal like it was yesterday. It was like time froze and everyone stood still and apperciated the skill and HEART of this man. When Henrik was named captain, I was happy for him, but I also felt for Kes because he was the PEOPLES CHAMPION and everything you would want in a leader. Those tears after game 7? thats the mark of a true man. Good luck Kes. I sure will miss you. For now, Ill just stay tremendously sad and keep rewatching that goal against the preds.
