When two Muslim Fight, Raise Arms to kill another --------------------------------------------------------------------- Sahih Bukhari Volume 9, Book 83, Number 14: Narrated Al-Ahnaf bin Qais: I went to help that man (i.e., Ali), and on the way I met Abu Bakra who asked me, Where are you going? I replied, I am going to help that man. He said, Go back, for I heard Allahs Apostle saying, If two Muslims meet each other with their swords then (both) the killer and the killed one are in the (Hell) Fire. I said, O Allahs Apostle! It is alright for the killer, but what about the killed one? He said, The killed one was eager to kill his opponent. Volume 1, Book 2, Number 30: Al-Ahnaf bin Qais While I was going to help this man (Ali Ibn Abi Talib), Abu Bakra met me and asked, Where are you going? I replied, I am going to help that person. He said, Go back for I have heard Allahs Apostle saying, When two Muslims fight (meet) each other with their swords, both the murderer as well as the murdered will go to the Hell-fire. I said, O Allahs Apostle! It is all right for the murderer but what about the murdered one? Allahs Apostle replied, He surely had the intention to kill his companion. Volume 3, Book 32, Number 240: Narrated Ubada bin As-Samit: The Prophet came out to inform us about the Night of Qadr but two Muslims were quarreling with each other. So, the Prophet said, I came out to inform you about the Night of Qadr but such-and-such persons were quarreling, so the news about it had been taken away; yet that might be for your own good, so search for it on the 29th, 27th and 25th (of Ramadan).
