When umar (RAD) became khalifah,he set many examples to this ummah one thing you can find it common during umar reign was fighting against corruption I remember this story about him a merchant ounce visited umar and gave him a musk as a gift soon the stranger left umar ordered his servants to send de musk to every house in makkah and make sure every person get a piece of it on their clothes after this exercise one of his servants asked him why he told him de musk was presented to him because hes de leader of makkah so it belongs to de people of makkah not him and his family and umar continued saying he fear on de day of qiyaamah if Allah asks him about de musk,hmmm see de fear of Allah in a true leader. These days our imams and big sheikhs are encroaching others properties without even thinking about the hereafter but our prophet Muhammad (SAW) was emphatic to us saying encroaches not upon others properties,may Allah guide us ameen.
