When was the last time someone asked if you were a Christian. Whether the question was phrased as a praise, an accusation, an exclamation of surprise or out of simple curiosity, all because you had professsed your faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Being thought of as different or being recognized as Christian because someone has agreed with Zechariah 8vs23b which says Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you is what it is all about. Pointing others to our God is both our privilege and our responsibilty. Let us be true ambassadors of God in execellence, so that our neighbours, workmates, classmates would want to come with us to our various churches and exprerience the glory and presence of the Almighty Lord. Let your life be a living testimony of the living God in you. You are the salt of the earth. As a Christan are you flavoring the situation around and keeping it from spoiling. This is what Jesus is telling you today that be his true ambassador. Do not lose your value and taste as a Christian. You are special treasure, a child of royalhood, zviya zvekunzi mwana wambo muranda kumwe hazvishande pamutendi, do not be thrown out and trampled because you have lost your saltiness. You are the light of the world. Refuse to be hidden, do not be put under the bowl because of difficult and challenging situations. Always walk straight up, even though things are not well. Be on your stand, mwana wekutenda, and be a light to everyone. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. It is now the time to claim our right rightful position as Christians. Let us not be ashamed of this Gospel of salvation. Let us now worship the Father in spirit and truth. We are children of royalhood, called to lead. Tsvimbo yaDavid haizombofa yakabva pamusoro pako. Gods gift and calling is irrevocable(Romans 11vs29), its only you who can suppress it.
