When we choose to respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading for change and growth our hearts will hunger to know the Father’s Love - "And he arose and came to his father. (Luke 15:20) - youtube/watch?v=D9HaH4AX92c Today’s lesson reminds us that sometimes the Lord allows us to be placed in difficult circumstances so that there will be an aching in our heart for a warm embrace from His unconditional love. It is very interesting to note that there are some of us who have benefited from the Love of the Master but just believe there are too many restrictions when we are in His presence. We seem to feel that outside of the presence of the Master we will have the freedom to do what pleases us. Somehow we believe that life would be better if we move away from the presence of the Master because we need to exercise our independence. The Lord reminded us in the story of the prodigal son that He will never restrict us from making our own decisions. As God, He must respect the choices that we make.
