When we first decided to homeschool, I asked Leo to think of some things hed like to learn about this coming year. A homeschool wish list, if you will. Periodically he will tell me that hes still mulling over ideas but that hes not ready to share them yet. Well, this morning over breakfast, he decided to share three: Archimedes Principle, sharks, and the Earths orbit (specifically, the shape of the orbit and the Earths position on various days of the year; why its cold in Jan when the Earth is closest to the Sun, etc.). Im going to use my old friend Google and gather books we have around here (what I usually do), but I know I have OODLES of teacher friends on here. If you have an idea for any of those three topics, please pass them along to me. Thanks in advance!!
