When we moved into our house 29 years ago, there was some UGLY, old dark brown carpeting in our bedroom, which always somehow fell to the bottom of our spend money priority list. I am SO excited that this coming week it is finally being replaced! Don bought the new stuff yesterday and was joking with the guy about the awful stuff at home. The Menards guy said they have a wall of shame in the back and that we would be welcome to add our before picture to this. Well, when Don showed him the old carpeting picture, he (after a moment of silence) announced that our old carpeting is truly the worst that he has ever seen!!! Horray for the small blessings in life like new carpeting!
