When we read Scripture it is so important we understand our New - TopicsExpress

When we read Scripture it is so important we understand our New Testament is maybe the most Jewish of the entire Bible. This is so apparent in the differences in how John and Mark were written. Let me give you a huge example. Here is how John starts: In the beginning was the Miltha. And that Miltha was with Elohim. And Elohim was that Miltha. This was with Elohim in the beginning. Everything existed through His hands, and without Him, not even one thing existed of the things which have existed. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And that light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it. There was a man who was sent from Elohim whose name was Yochanan. This man came for a witness that he might testify concerning the light that all might believe through his hand. He was not the light; rather that he might bear witness concerning the light. For the light was of truth, that which shines on all who come into the world. He was in the world, and the world existed by His hand and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him (John 1:1-11) Now Mark starts out just like this: The beginning of the Good News of Y’shua the Mashiyach the Son of Elohim, As it is written by the prophet Yesha’yahu, “Behold I will send my Messenger before your face that he prepare your way. A voice which cries in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way of Master YHWH and straighten his paths.’” Yochanan was in the wilderness immersing and preaching the immersion of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. And to him was going out all of the region of Yehuda and all of the children of Urishlim, and he would immerse them in the Yordanan river while they confessed their sins. And Yochanan was clothed with camel hair clothing and was bound with leather around his loins. And his food was locusts and wild honey. And he would preach and say, “Behold one who comes after me is more powerful than I. I am not worthy to stoop and loosen the straps of his sandals. (Mark 1:1-7) There are stark differences. The reason is because Mark is written on the Pashat level of understanding which is the literal. Read those verses in Mark, they are so very baseline and literal. Now read those verses in John who wrote on the sod level which is the level of Kabbalah we see many things in terms of gamatria and very deep Judaic concepts. Mark wrote using 7 laws of interpretation and John wrote using 72 laws. I encourage you to read those gospels for yourself and we for yourself.
