When we sold our house in Colorado, it was a corporate relo. We didnt actually close with the buyer. We closed with the relo company. They closed with the buyer we never met. Since we didnt close with the buyers, we didnt know their names from the start. Any idea what happens when a couple buys your house, and the wifes maiden name is the same as your last name? We had to jump through hoops to get the correct mail forwarded, get the bank to straighten out the different mortgages/bank accounts/debit cards because who knew we used the same bank, and then years later you will discover that the internet universe of background checks says you are related. Ironic
