When we watch a movie or television show the most memorable and likeable aspects are often either character or plot related. We often find ourselves applauding a protagonist`s wit or seeking cover behind a pillow to fend off the impending terror that the plot has thrown our beloved character into. Something that only the very best, and most loveable shows, manage to incur into our emotions is that of location; more specifically the buildings. So just how much would some of the world`s best known on-screen properties go for in the real world? Perhaps the most famous property from the realm of the American sitcom is the spacious two-bed apartment in Friends. Situated in the very heart of Manhattan, only a short distance from Central Park itself, this purple painted, disastrously decorated apartment is the epitome of inflated city prices. The flat would likely fetch around $800,000 in today`s market (£490,000), so it`s very unlike-ly that a group of twenty-something ‘friends` would be able to get anywhere near it!Moving a lot closer to home brings us to another flat - albeit a little less ‘central-parky` and a lot more ‘tower-blocky`. I am, of course, referring to the high-rise flat from Only Fools
