When we went to the shelter to pick up Gilmore the animal control officer asked youre sure you want to take THIS dog … right? He proceeded to list all the things wrong with him Hes blind you know. Gilly was so frightened and he smelled horrid but after a few days he started to calm down, he saw the vet for blood work and X-rays, he went to the groomer and came out looking and smelling great. It has been a little over two months and Gilmore is doing great. He goes to the beach, hiking, he loves to cuddle up and watch TV with his foster brothers and sister. He is silly and playful and even with all that life in him, he is held back by his blindness, something that could be FIXED. He was supposed to be a throwaway dog but he is not! Rocket Dog Rescue took a chance on him and now, with your help, the rest of his days will be the best ever
