When we were at the peak of our careers, my wife and I gave it up - TopicsExpress

When we were at the peak of our careers, my wife and I gave it up to commence a new life in a foreign country. The experience were going through is definitely poignant but, at the same time, humbling. Yes, nobody said it will be a walk in the park. Well, nobody said either it will be arduous. It never occurred to me that I will be in school again. But I am, because I have to. You see, our credentials back home are kind of worthless here. You want to work your profession again? Be in school first! Thats how it is. So, I worked during the day and I went to school during the night. For almost two years I worked in a job I never even considered doing which almost made me lose my self-esteem. However, it also built a fort for me to land a much better job. For in this great city its not about what you know but who you know and credentials from recognized institutions here. Sounds familiar? You got it! Being married to a tough and fearless woman Belle Ni is a great inspiration for me to move up a notch, especially when I saw her at her breaking point and how she persisted to climb her way up again. As my wife always tell me that intelligence is given yet good interpersonal and communication skills are vital to get the job. The time has come for me to shine again! Slowly. Constantly. Persistently. Indeed, good things happen to those who wait and work hard. Havent even finish school yet but landed a full time job in a big company here. Grateful that after 2 years, we finally got what we came here for and now starting to build up our profession again! Thank you to the unwavering support of our families and of course to my interview coach & beautiful wife who never settles for less.
