When were asked towards the end of this year, what event did you enjoy most in 2014, then this is going to be right at the top of the list. Forget a journey which Marco Polo would have struggled to make - & some were even worse - but finally arriving in the bar at 9pm on Friday evening & looking around at the host of Soul faces already there, then you knew you were in for a great time . . . & I certainly wasnt disappointed. Friday with Mark Whiteley bringing the curtain down, led into Saturday which was very special - even the seaview from the room was great ! An afternoon of fantastic tunes, spun by a host of fantastic guests was unmissable. A huge thanks to both Chris & Dave for letting me loose, I loved every second . . . from there straight out with the lovely Sue & Steve Plumb, Flanny & Debby Flanders for an epic Thai only added to the whole event . . . but, after getting back & going down to the main room for the evenings entertainment, lets politely say, stomach issues took over & it all went badly wrong. Sadly I felt so bad I left early & missed what looks like a wonderful Sunday afternoon of music.
