When writing headlines, use your thesaurus. Take this headline - TopicsExpress

When writing headlines, use your thesaurus. Take this headline for instance… This Unusual Substance Does Much More Than Fight Sore Joints I go to the Thesaurus, type in “fight”… And BOOM… The word “tussle” stared right back at me. So the headline becomes… This Unusual Substance Does Much More Than Tussle With Sore Joints Everyone uses fight. It’s a lazy word. They see it everywhere, so it gets glossed over. But tussle… It’s different. It stands out. You can imagine this “substance” getting in the “ring” with your sore joints and going into battle. So before you finalise a headline… get out your thesaurus. There’s almost always a better, action verb that “pops” - and one word can make a huge... big... tremendous... massive... colossal... enormous... monumental... mammoth... difference
