When you are right in the middle of that final push, the enemy - TopicsExpress

When you are right in the middle of that final push, the enemy will try anything to distract you. Over the months I have learned to call them distractions. Today marks 5 months that my Super Peacock has been sick. Three days from now would be 5 months in the hospital. Today we are entering the lift off stage. After three punch in the gut distractions in the past 12 hours we are still set to lift off. Last night I discovered we dont have the right mattress overlay for the Peacocks bed, then around midnight an intruder entered our room. Praise God I had only left to get a plastic fork to eat my salad. I walked in on him and asked, What are you doing? He was going through our things. The drawers of the little plastic storage unit were all open. Security was on the ball trying to catch these guys. My catching him in the act proably prevented him from taking anything. Then this morning I get hit with one of my Super Peacocks meds is $4000.00! Okay waiting for yall to pick your lip up from the floor. These things rattled me a tad bit, but God reminded me of just how great he is and has been to us. We celebrate heading to the house sometime today. God has been faithful to his word of healing. I realize that all of the prayers from each of you, the doctors, nurses, physical therapist, occupational therapist, radiologist, housekeeping, and dietary staff helped to hold us together. The times when I was falling apart you guys stood in the gap for us, holding us up in prayer, holding my hand, wiping my tears and even shedding tears with me. National Park Medical Center I am forever grateful. Josh is even a bit sad today. This is a bittersweet moment for us. May God bless all who took the time to pray for us. This means YOU!
