“When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” Isaiah 43:2 (NLT)… Good morning Facebook Family! May I start this lesson with this reminder; we all have seasons that we will be faced with trials, they will come in small details, or battles of life, and also in times of great difficulty. Let’s walk together and see what the scripture has to say to us! Our passage of scripture contains two words that are repeated over and over again that are important: when and through. As Children of God, each of us will experience times of trouble, trials, and testing, in our own given seasons. May I tell you from experience, that there will be a seasons when your circumstances are perhaps frightening to you or very painful as mine are now. Sometimes you will face not just one problem but waves of difficulties. This is why the Lord says, “when” not “If,” the waters rise, the rivers flood, and the fires burn. Yet in these verses the Lord also gives us reassurance that He will get us “through!” No matter how deep the waters, you will get to the other side! Remember the Hebrew Children crossing the Red Sea? No matter how intense the fiery trials, you will experience victory because He is “the Lord your God…Your Savior” (v. 3a). I challenge everyone to use these verses from Isaiah 43 to remind yourself that God is not only able to keep and protect you when you encounter rivers of difficulty but that He has committed Himself to carrying you and I through them! Who wouldn’t serve a God like that? Let us take time out today and thank Him for His promises of deliverances and protection and Praise His Holy and righteous name! Hallelujah!... Have a great day! Song for the day: God did not promise that we would never…never have to cry…But He promised …A brighter tomorrow…And it’s that same promise that will take us through today…>…Pray without ceasing for Peace and Love to abide everywhere!...Remember our Troops/Teachers/ Our Children/ And all our Schools…God loves you and I love you too!!!
