She passed, She will graduate sometime in September with a Laws degree from the University of Zimbabwe. I saw her growing up on the dusty roads of Nyazura, playing house in the red clay-loamy soils of our grandfathers farm in Zviyambe, Hwedza. I now have a reason to buy another new suit and dress up for her graduation. I bought a navy Blue one and donned it when Nyaradza Notmah Nembaware graduated from Solusi University. I will put on a new suit. I told these girls that It would be embarrassing for me to be traveling around the world telling people about womens empowerment, girls education e.t.c when you guys are just lazy-lizards watching every soap opera on TV. When the girls moved to Harare to stay with me I was a bit tough about watching television like you will be paid for watching forgetting that the actors are doing the job for a paycheck and going to peoples houses for sleep-overs like you are sesnseless. I would say Munhu ngaagare kumba kwavo To prove that I was not a just a stingy brother, I bought the satellite dish but it was there but not installed. I thank God for my sisters passing and pray for the youngest one who is writing her grade seven exams in October this year-I bought her a childrens version of Mandelas-Long walk to Freedom on Mandela day last week to inspire her as she prepares for her exams. I bought her a phone with Whats-app as per her request to prove that I am not a stingy brother but she will not use it, mum keeps it. She will stick with the old one till she finishes her grade 7 exams.
