When you have studied as much human psychosis and behavioral - TopicsExpress

When you have studied as much human psychosis and behavioral science as I have, the entire world around you, can -- at times -- seem tragically and unnecessarily sad and conflict-filled... Because we understand why people act and self-destruct in the same-old, predictable patterns as we do... We know that mental and physical deprivation, feelings of disrespect and inequality, and social elitism, are the prime generators of most our social ills today (crime/violence/rape/drug abuse/exploitation/greed/poverty/homelessness/etc..). We think politicians can save us, but they cant... Not working within the constraints of the monetary system, and the business as usual economic doctrines of today (profit over human and natural resource concern). We have not the free-will we think we do. We are far-greater subject to our environment, and prior conditioning, than we will admit. All the while, our ignorance of ourselves and of one another (how we relate to each other and the world around us) and our ego-driven feelings of superiority, are slowly but surely eroding our faith in each other, and our chance as a species to work-out our violent and discriminatory pasts, as a singular human family...in favor of a safer, saner, more equitable and sustainable social design. We have the technology, today; to completely change the world for a better ride for us all... Not one person left behind... So why not? Help pitch-in, as we vie for a Type-1 World Civilization, or bust... ;) I think its about time to unite for the purpose of species sustainability, before its too late... And try being kinder to one another, bitc#es...
