When you have the character defect as I do of talking too much, one learns over and over that its easy to hurt people with your words. Though I am a miserable failure at learning this lesson, and I will be judged by others for it, I will continue to be mindful of this truth - so I will hope to apply that knowledge as I am actually able - even if its far short of what is actually needed. Someone today encouraged me and said - Its not too late to turn it all around! I pray that they are right because my heart wants that to be true.
