When you know who you are sometimes you just have to keep reaching for the stars until your time comes. I remember somber days, crying in the corner from teachers telling me Id never be a writer because of my disability, more less an accomplished writer/ director. Others told me Id never amount to anything because I was the wrong color for my ambitions. Family thought I was crazy, talked about me behind my back. Who has the last laugh now?
