When you look in the mirror, do you like who you see? When we look in the mirror, we don’t simply see an image reflected on glass. Our self-image is largely what we believe others are seeing and thinking about us. How we feel about ourselves is a response to how we believe others are judging us. However, the real you is not what others think about you. The real you is not how your family, friends, enemies, neighbors, co-workers, clients or customers, church, or society see you. Who you really are is who you are in Christ. For we are Gods masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago (Eph. 2:10). Today locate a full length mirror and take a good look at yourself from head to toe, both back and front. Declare the following words of the psalmist: Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
