When you want something from someone, rather it be a relationship or a strictly platonic friendship .. Really be honest with yourself with WHY you want the friendship/relationship .. Is it because they look nice? Theyre popular? They are attractive? They are interesting? You admire their intellect? Then, after answering those questions .. Ask yourself, before even getting involved with that person, if youre prepared for the work it takes to be a part of someone whos like thats life(because famous people know theyre famous,people wanna be their friends/have secrets/hate loud mouths) . If youre not honest enough with yourself to answer those questions, then you probably wouldnt be able to keep up with that friendship. See it takes more than just being fond of someone to be in their life. It takes respect, trust, accountability, honesty & time & if you just like someone, dont waste their time by putting them on your plate(engaging them.) No, leave them at the buffet. Because you know, as I know, that your idea of what you WANT, is no where near what you can handle.
