When you want the best but you do not want to pay the price that the best( Simon G. Jewelry) jewelry costs then you get Zeghani By Simon. Why you may ask? Well its made in the same plant that Simon G is made in and by the same guys and gals who make the Simon G. There are really only two differences in Simon G and Zeghani and they are as follows. 1) Simon G is 18 Karat gold and Zeghani is 14 Karat gold 2) Simon G uses E-F color and VS1 clarity diamonds and Zeghani .uses G-H color and SI1 clarity diamonds. The other positive about Zeghani is the way the gold is mixed to make it white, They use palladium and a few secrets that they will not divulge that make Zeghani the whitest white gold I have ever dealt with. All gold starts out yellow and before now a combo of copper, manganese, nickel, tin and zinc to make it bright white the finished product would be dipped in Rhodium to make it bright white. There was only one problem. Over time it would fade and would require another application of Rhodium. The amount of time would vary depending on your chemical make up and what you came in contact with every day (hand sanitizer being the worst). Well knock on wood it seems Zeghani has fixed this problem. It has started using a close relative of X1 and cut almost completely back on nickel. Nickel is generally what is the culprit in making your skin break out when wearing white gold rings. So the less the better and the less you use of nickel and the more of the X family the brighter and whiter the finished product turns out. This brings me to the point of all of this. IN February we will be at the three year mark of selling Zeghani and we have never had to dip a ring in Rhodium and that is amazing. The quality of Zeghani is unsurpassed in any 14K line and almost all 18K lines. It is simply amazing.
