When your Boss hires you to work for his company because he needs a genius computer tech like yourself and asks you to help him with his business by learning a mac based program that will help his business grow. You being stubborn tell your boss that you can work on mac but dont like mac. You only like working on Windows programs. The boss gets very upset and some of the employees who like the genius talk some sense into him. dont make your boss mad you have a family to feed and kids to support you can learn the mac program the genius smiles and says ok and starts working on the mac program. All of the sudden everyone is happy at work. Your boss and employees and stockholders cheer your name and appreciate you learning the new program. But every month you keep telling everyone that you hate the mac program and even though you have learned it you dont care and your boss keeps getting upset over and over and over and over. Your boss likes you and knows you can do the job and he begs you over and over but you want to do it your way or the highway. You then have a computer glitch and your boss really needs you to help and come in late for work and everyone is depending on you. You say you will be in but then change your mind and threaten to quit. The next week you tell your boss that you are going to keep working on your windows program and you have called the bosses friends to offer your services. The Boss finally says enough is enough and tells you that he is done and moving on and wishes you the best of luck. The employees that like the genius decide to quit and follow the genius for no reason other than THEY NEVER LIKED THE BOSS ANYWAY AND TALKED BEHIND HIS BACK WITH FORMER EMPLOYEES WHO HATE THE BOSS BY CALLING HIM AN EGO MANIAC AND A LIAR!! The boss has been through this many times before and he makes the tough decision to move on and replaces the genius with employees who want and need the job and are excited for the opportunity to be in an emerging company. This man is Steve Jobs!! Great Story Everyone!! Hope it motivates you to do your job thats simply asked of you and everyone stays happy and productive.
