When your thoughts wont leave you alone, it’s fine for a day or two. Even a week is tolerable. But when your head decides to keep on going more than a year or two.. That.. That starts to break you down. First you start thinking only one thought. That thought wont leave you alone. It can be anything. When it finally leaves you and you sigh from relief, comes the next thought. After repeating this circle numerous times your brains starts to adapt. You start thinking two, three or even more things at the same time.. All the time. Escaping that storm in your head becomes harder and harder every day. When it gets like that, you start to lose yourself. Your thinking is eating you inside out. Daily routines lose their meaning. You start to lose interest in the things you liked. After that comes the scary part.. ..You slowly stop feeling. Pain will be there. Sadness, happiness, frustration.. They slowly start to fade away. You stop putting on your ‘everything is fine-mask… And people dont even notice it. You start to lose the last string. The string of friendship and hope. Are your friends your true friends if they dont notice anything? Or are you already so broken and damaged that they cant see it anymore? Not that it matters. Nothing seems to matter anymore.
